Some weeks ago some sources reported that TRT had plans to withdraw from the contest.But now those rumours were false and TRT would participate.
The last 2 years the results were not that good, stated the director.
In 2011 Turkey didn't reach the final for the 1st time and this year they were 7th.
Therefore TRT decided to change they way to choose its artist and song.
A committee will meet in London on November 2nd to discuss this and to seek for ideas.
Some well-known artists in Turkey like Tarkan, Sertab Erener,... will be invited and give their ideas.
When or how artists can submit is not known yet
