Almost 700 songs send for Denmark Melodi Grand Prix
Niels Brinck, representant in 2009, submitted a song for the national final.

The deadline for submitting songs ended yesterday and the Danish broadcaster received a record-breaking entries of 692.
Many well-known but also unknown people submitted a song.

Now a professional jury will judge all the songs and will select six songs that will go to the national final.
An additional four places will be awarded by the broadcaster, making a total of 10 songs in the national final.

Last year Soluna Samay represented Denmark and ended 23rd in the final with 21 points.
