After 2 years of disappointment, with the no-qualification of Dana International and Izabo, the IBA has decided to change the procedure for selecting a candidate.There will be 3 round of each 10 finalists, with a total of 30 songs. The top three of each round will proceed to the final phase of the selection.
The songs that didn't qualify by this round, will compete in another competition where the audience can choose one and this song will also compete in the final.
Thusfore we will have 10 songs in the national final.
These rounds will be held in january and february but further details will be announced by IBA.
