Finland has confirmed its participation for ESC 2013.
Also the finnish broadcaster YLE announced the rules for everyone who wants to participate in Uuden musiikin kilpailu UMK.
Everyone who wants can send demos between 3rd and 16th September 2012.Of the main artists and one of the song writers must be residented in Finland.
Any language maybe chosen and the song may be longer than 3 minutes.
Then a jury will judge all these demos and decide which songs move forward to the national final in February 2013.
If a song wins, they need to make a version of 3 minutes to apply to EBU rules.
Finland failed this year to reach the final with Pernilla Karlsson and När jag blundar. It became 12th in the first semi-final.
